Technical Working Group
Technology and R&D&I
Rationale
Stay at the forefront of SMR developments
- Ensuring safety, competitiveness, and strategic independence
Accelerate the feasibility and viability of the LWR-SMRs and AMRs:
- Identify the major technology R&D&I gaps
- Define a roadmap for its development
Foster collaboration, investment, and innovation
- Identify common R&D&I between technologies to foster collaboration
- Interaction with TWGs (finance, supply chain, safety, skills, …)
- Develop R&D&I projects to favor national or EU co-funding and sustain Test Facilities and Demonstrators.
Development of demonstration to validate SMR’s practicality in diverse industrial applications
